Digimon Savers - Ten Years Ago
Ten years ago, Satsuma and Yushima were officials working for the government. A mysterious growth in the number of missing people was on a quick and steep rise with no evidence or clues being left behind. Satsuma and Yushima were both assigned to the numerous cases and entrusted with the job of finding the source of this mass dissapearance.Meanwhile, the Noguchi family- researchers of digital phenomenon- were experimenting in their basement when all of a sudden their infant child, Ikuto, was abducted by a Digital Gate that had opened. Satsuma and Yushima got word of this and concluded the same must have happened to the others who had disappeared.
Satsuma, Yushima, Mr. Nogguchi, and Mrs. Nogguchi met with Suguru and Kurata, other researchers at the time, to begin an exploration team to the Digital World in order to find Ikuto and possibly the other people. They planned their strange adventure and entered the Digital World. Once in the Digital World, all of Ikuto that could be found was his bassinet and a toy that had been left behind.
Ikuto had been discovered by Frigimon. She saw this abandoned human and soon grew attached to him. Mercurimon, one of the Olympian 12 who ruled over the area, got word of Frigimon's discovery. He ordered her to give the infant up, but Frigimon told Mercurimon that she would have to disobey his orders. Mercurimon senses the bond that the two had made and decides maybe it's best to leave them be. Frigimon ended up raising Ikuto as if he were her own child. Frigimon also mentored Falcomon, and him and Ikuto grew up as brothers.Meanwhile, the exploration team made its way through the Digital World. Most of the team were enjoying and respecting their surroundings- all of them except for Kurata. This heartless man was afraid of the creatures that they encountered and began shooting at everything that moved. The Digimon saw this and soon began to become fearful of the humans as well.
The team soon encountered SaberLeomon- a Digimon who held a lot of hatred towards the humans. Kurata deployed a device that opened up a Digital Gate back to the real world. Suguru defended the team from SaberLeomon, making sure he didn't follow them back to the real world. It was then that the DigiSoul was discovered. The moment Suguru punched SaberLeomon, a DigiSoul appeared in his fist, and soon his whole body glowed with DigiSoul. SaberLeomon fled, but Mercurimon appeared. Suguru told the team to go- he would take care of Mercurimon. The two are soon fist to fist with Suguru's DigiSoul protecting him from the almost god-status Digimon.Mercurimon asks the man why he was invading his world and Suguru tells Mercurimon that it's of man's need to explore. Not only that, he says, but to find Ikuto and bring him home. The two opponents are soon to strike up conversation, leaving the fighting behind. Mercurimon, begining to trust the man, tells him that he would need to find Yggdrassil- God of the Digital World- to ask its permission to take Ikuto back and to solve the impending Digimon/human conflict. Suguru is very eager to meet Yggdrassil and soon parts. Mercurimon decides its best for him to remain there to protect the Digital Gate from Digimon entering the real world.
Some time later, Kurata decided it was up to him to go back to the Digital World and erase all of the Digimon so that there would be no conflict. He employs the use of Gizmon- what seem to be artificially created Digimon- to begin the eradication of Digimon. The Gizmon send a ray at said Digimon, scrambling its data, making it impossible for it to be reborn.Ikuto felt the pain of this first hand. Frigimon was hunted down and killed by Kurata's Gizmon. Before she died, Frigimon told Ikuto not to hate humans. Ikuto, who had grown up with Digimon, thought he was a Digimon himself. From that moment on, he declared himself the Digital World's warrior and swore to hate humans for killing his mother.
Some time later, Suguru sends Kudamon and Kamemon to the real world with blue prints for the Digivice iC. They also carry with them a message for Satsuma and Yushima to organize an establishment that promotes the Digimon and human races working together. It is then that DATS is born. Besides keeping peace, it is also their job send Digimon back to the Digital World by reverting them to their DigiEgg forms and transporting them back.
Ten years after the exploration team's original adventure, Masaru- son of Suguru- discovers Agumon and his own DigiSoul.
